Virginia Tweedy, Warner Bros executive talks about her breast cancer experience.
"Breast cancer is not a death sentence," says Virginia Tweedy, who spent the better part of a year dealing with her own breast cancer.  "But you do learn how to live one moment at a time.  You learn just how much courage and strength you have.  And you find yourself exceedingly grateful for excellent medical care."

A high-profile executive at Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, California, and the mother of two daughters, discovered what turned out to be a cancerous lump in her breast.  She underwent a lumpectomy and subsequent chemotherapy and radiation therapy and has been cancer free since.

Because of her own satisfaction coupled with a deep sense of gratitude for the support she received during treatment and the services available to her by Bebe Tamberg a friend and an appearance therapist. Virginia speaks publicly about her experiences at community breast health seminars.

She encourages women going through cancer treat to think of "the big C as standing for Cure not Cancer."

"I was treated with such respect and dignity and with great love and care.  I simply felt I had to give something back."
