Virginia Tweedy is a popular speaker on women's breast health and co-founder of Personal Appearance Thearapy Services "PATS". When she is not on the speaking curcuit, she is busy being a mom to two daughters, Felicia and Britni, ages 24 and 17. In addition, she is enjoying a career of 30 years at a major motion picture company where she is a vice-president. She is very active in her community serving as President of her church, volunteering her time on the Internal Research Board and Cancer Oversite Commitee at a leading cancer center in Burbank. She has been featured in the 2001 Corporate Annual of this leading cancer center as well as a 2001 recipient of the Beautiful People Award. She and co-founder of PATS, Bebe Tamberg, have been featured in an L.A. Times article on Hair Restoration and an NBC interview on breast cancer survivors during breast cancer awareness month. She enjoys local community theatre and serves on the board of E.L.A.T.E. (Emmanuel Lutheran Actors Theatre Ensemble) where she produces two to three shows per year which includes dramas, musicals, and comedies. As a breast cancer survivor, Virginia's story of survival has reached many women. She and Bebe have made a difference in many womens lives. To be told that they have saved lives is the greatest gift she feels they can give to other women. Challenging women to be proactive in their breast health and getting their annual mammograms is at the top of Virginia's "to do" list.
